Obama, No means No!

Now why is it that the media celebrates how Barry met Michelle, because it seems to me, that he was absolutely guilty on all counts of sexual harrassment. Even better, Michelle was engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a summer intern. (Seems like another Democrat we know.)

Let's review from the Washington Post:

... the firm assigned her to mentor a summer associate named Barack Obama ... His name struck her as odd, as did the fact that he had grown up in Hawaii. She assumed he would be "strange and overly intellectual" and that she would almost certainly dislike him... She often recounts how she resisted when Barack asked her out, saying in an interview that she felt it would be "tacky" if they started to date because they were "the only two black people" at the firm ... the impression that Michelle was pursuing Barack as much as he was pursuing her ... through the half-open door, she would see Barack, sitting on one corner of the desk.
I cannot seem to figure out how a story of a woman in a position of authority over a young summer intern taking advantage and pursuing a sexual relationship with them is considered so heartwarming. In most companies, you'd get fired for this sort of behavior. In the Obama-mania-media, Sexual Harrassment and Inappropriate relations at work turns into a Fairy Tale, well, I guess that fits this campaign.

In Response to: No Means No.

Simply asking someone out or dating someone wouldn't be an offense at any place I've worked, including government jobs. In a building full of lawyers, if they were acting inappropriately, I am sure the company would have put a stop to it.

I don't see anything inappropriate about it. It is simply how they met. We all have stories how we've met. I hate them, but sorry, can't jump on this bandwagon.

She was assigned to mentor him. You can't go out with your boss or subordinate!

Miracles happen. My father knew my stepmother for a week before he popped the question, and he was a administrative manager at Merryl and she was an intern. Sound scandalous? Yeah. But twenty years later they're still happily married. And that's just old-fashioned.

This is such a non...story, for lack of a better expression. It's just how Mr and Mrs Obama met. They don't regret it and neither should you. Get back to something of substance. I follow this blog to get a taste of the right, and so far I'm not impressed.

Nope, slander fail. Find another straw to clutch at.

It is just a fact... Michelle would get fired in most companies today... not trying to slander... just presenting some facts.

Umm... Obama's book, Washington Post article... Obama's various montages about his life. He wouldn't take no for an answer. He was an intern. They had a relationship. How you feel about it is up to you.
