Campaign Finance - Obama Style

We here at the Daily AntiKos have changed our minds. We do think it is time for fairness. We think it is time to spread the wealth around. It is time to be patriotic, to jump in, be part of the deal. We think it should apply to Obama's fundraising efforts!

Let's see:

He got a record fundraising haul. Kind of like record profits. It's paid for by the American People who don't have enough money right now to pay for gas, but they have plenty to send to him? John McCain has not raised as much money as him, in fact McCain already got $87M from the Government. Wait, I think Obama chose a free market system rather than a government run program!

John McCain already took money from the government for his campaign, and Barack Obama chose to use the free market system. Since Obama wants to give a tax credit to those who already get the Earned Income tax credit, it only makes sense that the government should give MORE campaign funding to McCain based on Obama's system of fairness. So, that's what we think should happen, the government should put a windfall campaign fundraising tax on Obama in order to redistribute those funds to McCain to "level the playing field," to "be about fairness," to "ensure that the little guy has a chance."

Mr. Obama, what do you think?
