I'm Still Voting...

It's over... it's a blowout. McCain has lost. It is Palin's fault. The Republicans are eating their own.

Let's review:

Electoral Vote - Obama 337, McCain 171
FiveThirtyEight - Obama 354, McCain 184
DailyKos - Obama 357, McCain 181
Real Clear Politics - Obama 364, McCain 174
CNN - Obama 277, McCain 174

I think you get my point... But you know what. I am still voting. I refuse to let polls, the media, or anybody else suppress my vote. This is America, and my vote counts. I am an American. I am a voter.

I will vote my conscience. I will not vote based on a false promise of change. I will vote because I believe in Capitalism. I will vote because I believe in a strong America. I will vote because Iran should not be allowed to destroy Israel. I will vote because there is no other country in the world that stands for freedom like America. I will vote because UN peace-keepers have never gotten the job done. I will vote because Putin and Chavez are becoming close friends. I will vote because lower taxes mean more jobs. I will vote because fairness means rewarding individuals who work hard, not punishing them. I will vote because I believe in smaller government. I will vote because I will speak for the unborn. I will vote because I have a right to own a gun and defend my family. I will vote because dissent is important. I will vote because I believe in secret ballots, especially for unions. I will vote because we need to use our own natural resources. I will vote because Marriage is between a man and a woman. I will vote because companies do not pay taxes. I will vote because fairness does not mean welfare. I will vote because it is my right and nobody can take it away from me.

Ditto! I'm voting for the same reasons. Everybody in my town is planning to vote - everybody here knows it's the most important election we will see in our lifetimes.

Do not believe in any of the polls. They are always incorrect.

I am also voting. And for Palin/McCain. Do not believe all the MSM BS about Palin also. She is exactly what the Republican need and she is the future of the Republican Party, or else we are screwed to vote for Socialist light from now on.

Well, as discussed before... I wish there really was a way we could vote for "Palin/McCain"!! :-)

Why doesn't anyone mention the AOL Straw Poll. The week of 1010-1017 McCain's ahead 54 to 44. The Electoral Count is McCain 381, Obama 157. Over 125,000 voted too.

Palin is great. The Media has attempted to destroy her because she is a threat.

I am a libertarian. Palin is scary on economic matters, but nowhere near the democratic party, and I trust her advisers much more than Obama's. Wait a minute, who's the Republican nominee again???

People put more importance on the presidency than it deserves, but given the rate the government has expanded in the last couple of months!, it's the most important election ever.
