Wolverines!

Good Morning DAKonians!

It is now time to start planning our ground-game for the 2010 mid-term election. We can no longer sit on the sidelines and allow the Socialists on the left to dominate voter registration, Black and Hispanic representation, and young people's minds. It is time to get out from behind our laptops, our blogs, and our DIGG accounts. It is time to harvest the energy that Sarah Palin's candidacy produced and give the people in this country who believe in Liberty and Freedom an opportunity to get involved. It is time to re-brand the Republican Party and stop being ashamed of it. It is time to help our existing conservative Black and Hispanic Americans get a foot-hold in their communities and succeed in their bids for office. It is time to give our conservative teens and college kids the tools they need to have greater influence over their peers. It is time for Wolverine Republicans!

We will debut a new social network site on January 1st, 2009 that will serve as headquarters for Wolverine Republicans and allow us to organize and communicate our grassroots effort. Don't worry, the Daily AntiKos will continue fighting the fight on a daily basis on the blogosphere.

What do we need from you? We are developing "Our Plan" which will serve as a manifesto-type document. Our goal is to have some very practical goals and political objectives to support going forward. We are not looking for "pie-in-the-sky" philosophical doctrine. What we are looking for simple federal, state, and local legislative actions that can be agreed upon by supporters of Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, Pat Buchanan, etc. Yes, we are looking to bring "real" conservatives back together. This is not an attempt to move to the center but an attempt to galvanize conservatives from multiple factions.

Please submit your suggestions to: fundy@dailyantikos.com .

Just a reminder of what we are up against:

I am very interested in joining in a way that I am able. I eagerly await the new website.

Wisconsin conservatives survived this election. They did it by drawing a line in the sand on what they believed and stuck to it. This new site needs to draw that line in the sand and define who is on what side of that line. This will give visitors two things. One, where we stand. Two, who is standing with us.

I'd like to know more about what's coming before I get excited. It has to be something new. If we just create a conservative equivalent of other places out there I don't think it will go over well. For instance a conservative Digg is just plain doomed to failure. A platform like DailyKos for conservatives would be nice, but it would have to have fundamental differences that make it better than DailyKos other than just being conservative.

I'm in. We need to separate the wheat from the chaffe so to speak. I will be e-mailing you as well.

We're the best we are at what we do.

I'd also like to understand the significance of the white belts these young people were wearing.

That video is "unavailable" now. Youtube is linked with Google, who is very liberal. You can't depend on Youtube links. You might try http://www.breitbart.tv/ for video links. Youtube will be sanitizing all anti Obama content.
